Hi, I’m Bridie, the owner and floral designer behind Blooms by Bridie, an award winning wedding and events team based in the North Brisbane suburb of Lawnton.

Creativity is at the heart of what I do, and there’s nothing more rewarding than watching your wedding day or event come to life. My floral style is romantic and abundant, with a garden-inspired feel. Full of colour, texture, and natural movement.

I love creating flowers that feel joyful and personal, while still elegant and refined. I get such joy when I see how much you love your flowers and love nothing more than receiving a wedding gallery from a couple to see how the whole day came together. It makes all the hard work worthwhile.

I feel incredibly honoured every time a couple chooses me to be their wedding florist. From our first emails and discussions to understand your vision, to sourcing your bridal flowers from the markets and designing them into stunning arrangements just for you. I love every step of the process.

A few fun facts about me:

• I met my husband in the UK and lived there while he served in the military.
• I’m a qualified teacher and naturopath, but flowers are my true calling (they don’t talk back!).
• Brunch is my ultimate fave.
• My favourite flower? The ranunculus — so ruffled and delicious looking.
• I have a soft spot for koalas and can’t resist a doggo at weddings!
